Rapper emtee files for Divorce from Wife
Mthembeni Ndevu better known as emtee, and his wife, Nicole Chinsamy who got engaged in Ghana in 2018 when they attended the AFRIMA Awards are currently heading for divorce.
The rapper whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu and hails Rockville, Soweto has reportedly moved out of the house he shared with his estranged wife after filing for divorce in April.
However, Emtee revealed to TshishaLIVE that some of his belongings are still in the house.
“I haven't moved out completely yet. It is what is. I don't want no problems,” he said.
When asked to confirm whether he had filed a summons for divorce, Emtee responded: “Yep.”
The two are expecting their third child but the abuse in the marriage led to their separation.
Nicole accussed Ndevu of hitting her and further opened a case against him, but she withdrew it.
“On 03/03/2023, I opened a common assault case under domestic violence against my husband Mthembeni Ndebele. He was arrested on 08/03/2023. Therefore, I hereby wish to withdraw the charges against Mthembeni Ndevu. I forgave him for the sake of my kids,”
reads the statement.
